I agree - it is clear that although the overall nos of merchants has changed on the site they are minor additions. RJ's interview with Commsec talked about "up to" 500 UK sites on launch. Going through them one by one most are very much still Irish based with UK outposts.
If I took an educated guess they have still not received final approval to provide for credit greater than 500 pounds and there will be a followup announcement on FCA approval.

Could be wrong but releasing so little info on the last day of the fin year (other than UK board members) for such an important announcement looks very much like ticking a box. I am sure there are a lot of disappointed people inside and outside HummGroup who have been working tirelessly to make this happen.
However we should all remember there is a pandemic affecting all sorts of interactions and the direction is absolutely still forward and up.
