PAR and the Possible Sales Projection, page-72

I was going through some earlier posts and came across one of my own... almost a year ago to the day.

I remain unfazed by the recent activity as it was exactly the type of situation I mentally prepared myself for at the time. Actually I was prepared for much worse scenarios than just questions about some pre-clinical rat trial. It's almost unbelievable the number of short term results-oriented shareholders who seem to be caught out by such an unsubstantial issue. If they can't survive this, then Heaven forbid... This was the main reason I've never recommended this stock to any of my friends or family, I just didn't trust they had the patience to hold it long enough to ever reap its financial rewards. Patience can only be acquired through putting in the hours for one's own research, there is no shortcut unfortunately.

Even if it had been smooth sailing the past 12 months and the stock was overhyped (APT-style) to say $10 today, there was not a chance that I was going to sell out. So whether it be $10 today or $1.90, today's price was always going to be merely another point in time along the journey. If you look at the chart of any biotech that successfully commercialised, it was never anything close to a straight line to their current price. They all went through what PAR is going through now and will go through in the next 3+ years. Again, mental preparation now for what's to come is the key.
