You guys crack me up.
At 12:08 yesterday Willowbanker posted links to an article in The Australian which bears news relevant to LCK.
Eight minutes later the Keystone Cops* arrive. [Guys, your response time is slipping, please work on that ]
First responder CheyneD kindly posts what appear to be the relevant part of the article and then claims, astoundingly, that because the warning also involves the Company's auditor, it is of little relevance to LCK. Say what? "ASIC warned five companies AND their auditors" and further down "Leigh Creek Energy AND auditor Grant Thornton all received warnings from the regulator". Plain as! So even though this warning happened last year, it's still news if it hasn't been widely reported before. I've seen no discussion of this on HC, for example, or in any LCK document, so yes it is news, and yes it is completely pertinent to LCK. You may not like to hear it though.
Next cop to arrive says, basically, it's ASIC's fault for making it too damned hard to comply. All companies are having trouble. Really? There are 2065 companies listed on the ASX. Apparently 2060 of them were able to meet their global warming disclosure requirements. According to the above article, only five were 'pinged' last year.
The rest arrive but it just consists of taking out the truncheons and giving blows to the body. Abysmal quality posts.

We must talk about factoids, before long. Too many of them going around, here. Meanwhile, Willowbanker [if you're still moving], you are 100% correct and normal in your thinking.
* Cops, in this usage, is sometimes spelt Kops. Same thing.
