do you really believe that. Today I met with a young woman who completed her paramedical diploma late last year. For whatever reason across the country roles have been wound back, not hiring, on the back burner, not funded. She’s tried endlessly to get work and it’s an uphill battle - she’s under qualified or over qualified. It’s heartbreaking stuff
she is not alone. Down the other side of careers there are far too many older people (over fifty ) who are rejected over and over again until they become disheartened poor.
if you are not in the group who experience this count yourself lucky and try gratitude for your good fortune rather than make ill informed judgments. Try to suspend your prejudices and presumptions rather than label everyone.
