    @logco; there is a place for the likes of 5G, 6G, etc. but it's not a replacement for FTTP.

    Where I live we're lucky if we get a 4G signal strong enough to last a phone call - though Telstra now claims 5G is available in our area people with 5G phones can't get a 5G signal yet because their still rolling out transmitter points.
