Yea I did hear that later, to my surprise. It's obviously rock, but these are not 'chips' at all, at least in the normal sense. This is a continuous trench/ channel cut into the outcropping rock. Like a surface core that hugs the topography.
Rock chips can be very selective and therefore deceptive. This much less so, but probably somewhere in between normal rock chip sampling and a blind drill core as far as confidence levels. Considering its a strike extension of a well known and understood mineralised system, confidence in geometry is pretty high, as you can tellfrom the MDs video update. Ie " could double the high grade resource" that's money
