Help me out here. ( I mean that )
Why would you care about the "accounting" item which is intangibles?
The performance of the company is revenue, profit, cash flow ... over a longer term than just the last 12 months.
Is 33c a good or bad price for the assets the company and what is the potential revenue and profit growth ( or decline! ) it will make going forward?
That is the question.
"Intangible" line items don't determine that, that comes after the fact and is still just accounting.
Of course in MYX case it is exactly the intangibles that is mostly producing the revenue... but it is not the accounting value of the intangible that matter but rather predicting the potential revenue and profit.
So.
I have not completed this, but I have looked back on previous years revenue, profits and cash flow statements to get a real sense of where it might go IF Nextstellis is indeed successful and the non "cost of sales" operating expenses....which is likely to stay relatively constant....like salaries etc.
Unlike the expenses on "intangibles"
