    Before I had heard of Race, I was quite interested in fasting and fast-mimicking diets for a number of reasons - one of which being the "purging" action of pre-cancerous cells.

    I'm wasn't sure if there is a direct correlation between fasting/ketogenic states and FTO inhibition, but it made sense to me at the time and down the Race rabbit-hole I went..

    There were also a few studies I read that said fasting during chemo treatments increased effectiveness (again with similarities to Bisantrene) which were interesting..

    Would be curious to know if I'm off my tree or if indeed a similar mechanism is at work here.

    Dr Dom D'Agostino and I think Dr Peter Attia had a few good articles I can dig up if you are curious.
