a couple of quick questions,

In the space of 3 mnths my girlfriend made 20 trades (normal share trading not cfd's) with a gross turnover of around $400K for a total loss of $3500. She has now decided share trading is not for her, Is there a way we can claim the loss?

I am currently trading CFD's and am getting conflicting information about wether or not i need to include these in my tax return, I have made alot of trades (100's with turnover in the millions) I am about square for last year in regards to profit/loss but i really need to find out what the rules are
Any info would be appreciated
