Zetajones This is about choice for each individual. I was 5 foot 3 inch (in the old language) and 55 kilo ( in the new) when I gave birth to 8lb 10oz son at age 26 in hospital. I consider this was stuffed up after 19 hours of labour. Second one delivered with my own midwife in hospital due to husbands feelings. 7lb 9oz without any trouble do I remember this yes as all mothers do. If I had my druthers they would be born at home. I do not try and say all babies should be born at home, just those whose mothers and fathers are comfortable with the choice and their risk assessment. Inimitable
