    Good morning all,

Firstly I wanted to thank all the usual contributors to the thread and encourage and welcome any new posts.

The Australian share market is likely to open higher after a mostly positive lead from the US and the commodity market.

On the Sydney Futures Exchange, the September share price index contract ended trading on Saturday 26 points higher at 4091. On Friday, the benchmark S&P/ASX200 index closed up 25.7 points, or 0.63 per cent, at 4089.8, its highest close since November 10. The broader All Ordinaries index gained 24.7 points, or 0.61 per cent, at 4097.3 points, its highest close since November 6.

There has been a lot of negativity in this Forum recently and I want to nip it in the bud right now. We are all here to share our views on short term trading prospecs. Let's keep our posts informative and professional. Here is what I agree are the essential criteria for this forum (thanks Robbbbbbb). If you don't think you are capable of following these guidelines then don't waste our time.

If you think a stock is a sell, "say it".
-If you think a stock is a buy "say it"
-If you like charts "share them"
-If you like fundamentals "share them"
-If you have a question "ask it"
-If you have nothing nice to say "dont say it"

Remember it is reporting time and this week is huge. The list was too long to post this morning so please check with your broker. I'm with Westpac, and I know they have a section for the coporate calendar.

I've got interstate visitors this week, so won't be able to post much, but look forward to reading all of your posts.

I'm closing out the remainder of my CFU holding today, to take some more profit, and will continue to hold MCW this week, as I believe it will continue it's upward move. I'm also interested to see what happens with CCC and FAR this week as both have impending price sensitive announcements. I don't hold either.

    Safe trading and tight stops.

    cheers
    Ange
