Nothing to do with politician’s choice…it’s to do with financiers choice.
Sovereign risk causes concern with financiers and other potential downstream partners, necessary to get the project off the ground (or in the ground).
Perhaps this is why LKE is looking for a hail-Mary lifeline from ECA’s.
