Not if you put them in chronologic order and not if you are able to check and understand when they talk about EVs in terms of "plug-in", which includes some hybrid cars as well as battery only cars.

If you are not able to do that, how do you expect to understand what is going on?

Also, do not get confused between when they talk about monthly and annual new car sales.

Once again you assert that Norway EV owners have to wait for stock... how long do they have to wait? Do you think no one is aware that currently there is a global supply constraint with EVs? Manufacturers literally cannot build EV factories fast enough o satisfy demand. I do not understand why that ought to imply that Australia just ought to give up on trying to encourage EV uptake, given the financial and health benefits to the society that comes with that.

A bit like trying to obtain COVID vaccine supply. If you do not get in early, you will miss out on deliveries. So do you try to get into the queue or just let everyone else reap the benefits of EVs?

Looks like EV manufacturers will need to pull their fingers out to get production numbers up to realistic rates if they want to fill all the orders that are expected.
