The bit about dodging was from an Alan Kohler Interview with Mr Rimas. His answer was along the lines of "we might get around to it in 6 months or so".
We don't have enough info. to answer about FYI's carbon foot print at the moment- the thing is that Alcoa is very carbon aware- see the articles on the Elisa process.
It may appear to some that the "carbon footprint " announcement was a smokescreen (pun intended) to diffract away from ESG as Rimas knew that FYI was coming out with an ESG announcement.

The other concern of course is if China continues its blockade on Aus coal.What happens if Orica has to close its explosives line?Look for a Force Majuere in the Orica/A4N agreement if and when it is signed.
