I think PT is their Price Target. These firms are risk adverse, having to UNDER promise and OVER deliver for the sake of their reputations.

Imagine, stating the REAL price target. They would be laughed out of the pub by their mates. But the sad thing is, they would NOT get the recognition deserved when the prophesy comes true.

So, why not take the SAFE side and understate which is guaranteed to over deliver thereby keeping the 9-5 and your mates?

And you can always adjust the target as reality becomes more undeniable!

Just the way the (financial) world works.
