Just to clarify as it seems some are not aware of this. The Mali assets are owned by GMR not the JV. Thus the current gold inventory is owned by GMR (90%, vendo owns 10%).
Major leverage from Mali sits with GMR itself.
You can see that the type of projects that will go into the JV are highly advanced world class projects like the 2 Swedish projects and which require decent capital to develop.
GMR shareholders therefore get leverage to both.
