On the evening of Thursday 8 July 2021, the Victorian gas price has further risen to A$26.75/Gj as demand is at a relatively high 1095 Tj.
For Sydney (according to AEMO), the price is A$29.78, the highest I've seen it this year (although I don't monitor it daily). Demand is 333 Tj showing how important Victoria is for consumption.
Does COE benefit from increased wholesale natural gas prices as domestic demand ramps up on cold winter days and nights in Victoria?
