CDV released one metallurgy sample (showing poor recovery) with the maiden resource estimate. I’m still not entirely sure what the purpose of it was, but it was never supposed to be a full suite of metallurgy representative of the entire deposit.
Metallurgy is something that has killed so many projects and is massively overlooked as a risk by a lot of investors (I’ve tried to point this out in the DEG threads to little avail). Ampella is another one. Once had a $700M market cap and was ASX200 in 2010. Their project had 3Moz+ and remains undeveloped to this day.
Anyway I think the nearby deposits to Bankan have pretty conventional metallurgy so hopefully not an issue here.
