Don’t get me wrong here this is a good announcement but I can tell you MasterCard signs one of these deals with just about every payments company in the world. The good news is they only sign them if they believe the partner is capable of executing. So big tick for CRO. The not so good news is I’ve been involved with another payments company that signed a very similar agreement 18 months ago and it hasn’t led to a single new client deal being signed. (But that is mostly their fault).
Referral deals are just that, referrals. They are only of any value if you execute. Over to you CRO.
