being non filamentary has scaling advantages that the laws of physics simply deny filamentary types like Fujitsu and Weebit.
These include voltage, current and power efficiencies as well as mechanical advantage (no moving parts!)

Weebit has about 15 direct competitors all using the same approximate approach in forming a filamentary bridge within the device.

4DS is unique in it's approach.
The great hope around the faithful here is that the metrics stack up! (Pun intended)
Unique approach or not, without solid performance specs we may as well be selling ice to Eskimos.!
But one must wonder why HGST and imec have partnered with us so long if the preliminary performance metrics were shot...
