@RaceOncology Dr T - just to echo the sentiments of many holders before me – thanks so much for all the hard work you and the team are putting in to develop treatment for the pain that is cancer.
I came on board with RAC (albeit small time in comparison with others holders here) around a year ago after @Wombat piqued my interest and I investigated further. Shortly after this, I was diagnosed by my oncologist with desmoid fibromatosis. Whilst I’m extremely grateful that this is at the lower end of the cancer spectrum, other family members have been taken far too early by much more aggressive forms. At the moment it seems like every few months I hear of friends who are starting or ending their own battles with C. I guess this is just a little ramble about how RAC is not just about the potential massive SP gains and dreaming of fast cars, as fun as that can be, it could literally save lives and heartbreak. That would be a legacy to be proud of. Although, I’m certainly not averse to paying off the mortgage whilst we’re at it…
PS – I’d be interested to hear if Bisantrene could have applications to my old mate Desmoid
