I am invested more than others as I have a large shareholding. Yes I am interested in it going up and I believe it will and that is why I have shares in it. Investing 101. If you think a share is worth a lot more than the price, hold it. If you think a share is not worth the price sell it. That is why I am holding it, to make money not lose it.
yes I bought shares early on so am very happy with the story and continue to be. I am barracking for my team or share as I want it to do well. I am happy to hear reasoned arguments with facts as to why SUV is not a good investment but get a little bit hot under the collar when people down ramp with innuendo which has no basis in fact.
any31y lost money on UTR and is pissed as I would be but fails to appreciate that SUV is a different company. I have explained before that think of a hamburger joint at a certain venue which goes out of business and we buy it and start selling gourmet pizzas. Different product, different owners different name but same building. And31y would say don’t eat there they are dodgy and sell cr**** hamburgers when everyone else has moved on and realises new owners new company and different product.
yes I only comment on this and vrx (silica sand) as they are my two main shareholding’s apart from cym. I occasionally post on related stocks but otherwise I have better things to do rather than downramp stocks I do not own. Yes remember SUV has a monster sand deposit which hopefully will be announced shortly.
so why do I support SUV? It is a brilliant company with great assets that are in demand that is run by outstanding business people who have great acumen and IMHO will further deliver to shareholders as they have already done.
this is my best advice for novice investors. Find a stock that has a product in demand, run by astute business people who have skin in the game and then back it with everything you can. Avoid stocks that are chasing unicorns with new fancy ideas by used car salesmen trying to make a quick dollar.
SUV is the former so I have backed suv with as much as I can. I stand by my decisions rather than take pot shots anonymously at companies I am not invested in, wasting my time (none of us are getting younger) and therefore money. I suggest everyone else do the same otherwise you might want to book an appointment with your GP for a check up. Good luck to everyone with the courage to back their convictions
