I just had another look this morning and I am even more perplexed about the ‘gradual expansion’ of acreage in ‘recent months’ which Lithium Corp announced the other day ;

.. “Currently, the Company’s holdings here are 6,873 acres (2,781 ha’s), up considerably from the beginning of the year holdings of 1,440 acres (523 ha’s).”

The Lithium Corp Fish Lake Valley playa appears to be quite flexible in terms of size. (The playa accordion?)

That notice definitely says the holding was 1,440 acres at the start of 2021.

But in March 2016 when American Lithium entered the 80% earn in agreement with them the total land under claim was 7,840 acres ;

“[a] On March 8, 2016, .. (it) …..entered into a Share Purchase Agreement to acquire all the outstanding share capital of 1032701 BC Ltd., a privately held mineral exploration company with a common Director which holds rights to acquire 100% interest in a series of 98 placer claims comprising a total of 7,840 acres in Esmerelda County, Nevada, known as the “Fish Lake Valley Project” from Lithium Corp…”[ref]​

In May 2019 when American Lithium failed to take up the earn in Lithium Corporation reported the land size as 11,360 acres.

… “Lithium Corporation acquired the Fish Lake Valley prospect in 2009. ​

In the 1800s, it operated as a producer of borates from a lithium/boron/potassium rich brine recovered from the east side of the salt flats. ​

The prospect is currently comprised of one hundred and forty three - 80 acre Association Placer claims for a total of approximately 11,360 acres (4,597 hectares),​

On May 3, 2021 when Altura entered the 60% earn. in the announcement said

.. “The prospect is currently comprised of eighty four (84) – 80 acre claims for a total of approximately27.17 square kilometres, covering the most prospective portions of the playa…” [link]​

So I wonder if - after American Lithium disappeared - Lithium Corp let the claims lapse and only realised after Altura signed up for the earn in two years later?
