Right. Ok. I am not the only one then which makes me think how did that Perth couple do it? Surly it would have cost them over 50k also. Plus provision for 2 more batteries. Great to be less dependent to the Utilities but gosh it has to be at least a little bit of a financial decision. I spent about 4k on electricity and 1k on Gas a year and my ROI would be 12 years. 2 years past the warranty of the batteries.
