Since the release of the book "Toxic-The Underbelly of the Tasmanian Salmon Industry" by Richard Flanagan readers have stopped eating Tasmanian salmon. This is not just another greenie but a respected prize-winning author and the public is reading and passing the book on. My daughter gave it to me last week and I read it over the weekend. The revelations in the book are causing surging concern about the regulation of Tasmania's salmon industry.

Basically anyone who reads the book stops eating Tasmanian salmon.
A public meeting at Hobart's Town Hall reached capacity half an hour before it began, with hopeful attendees turned away at the door. The group was told celebrated author Richard Flanagan's latest work, Toxic, about the aquaculture industry, had been reprinted four times and was sold out since its release... https://www.abc.net.au/news/2021-04-29/epa-wes-ford-emails-to-tassal-revealed-over-salmon-deaths/100103164
The share price has dropped since the book's release because there is so much bad press about the industry at the moment.
Tasmanian salmon companies report 68 instances of elevated fish deaths in 15 months - https://www.msn.com/en-au/news/australia/tasmanian-salmon-companies-report-68-instances-of-elevated-fish-deaths-in-15-months/ar-AALQUE4

I believe 2 things will happen over the next couple of years:-
1. Australian and Tasmanian government will start putting more and more regulation on the industry which means that the profits will decline substantially.
2. Most other countries are moving to RAS (land based) aquaculture and huge investment is being made into more environmentally friendly methods of production and this will overtake the Tasmanian salmon industry which will go into decline if they don't follow suit.
BTW, I am not a greenie, however, I encourage you to do your own research into the macro trends of the industry.
I sold my 10000 shares in TRG after ABC 4 Corners report back in 2019 and the share price has been dropping ever since.
