The psychological effect is immaterial with regards to instos since they deal with market cap
As far as retail investors go, I think fewer shares has the opposite psychological effect.Ask 100 retail investors if they would prefer to have 1000 000 shares at 0.013c or 100 000 shares at 13c..guarantee 90% go for the former
