0153 GMT [Dow Jones] Arrow Energy (AOE.AU) hitting new heights, with shares up 5.4% at

record high of A$4.12 compared to flat broader market. Arrow's made no announcements

to the market today but takeover speculation is constantly associated with the group,

given its exposure to Queensland state coal seam gas and existing JV with Royal Dutch

Shell (RDSB.LN). Investors could also be increasingly confident that a final investment

decision will be made on Fisherman's Landing LNG project at Gladstone by December as

planned. Arrow has agreed to supply gas to the plant, to be built by Liquefied Natural

Gas (LNG.AU), which has also experienced recent rally, with its shares up 4.4% at 72

cents. Arrow is also supposed to be supplying gas to Shell's proposed LNG plant and

there's speculation Shell could think it cheaper in the long-run to buy Arrow

outright, rather than buy gas from Arrow. (RRK)
