But seriously, I'm not that familiar with mine sites, what positive and negative impacts?
- Less noise, exhaust, heat for site & operator
- No transport or storage (or hedging) costs for diesel fuel
- Less maintenance costs on engine (still need maintenance on everything else)
- Requires charging infrastructure (but solar?)
- How much equipment/vehicles on mine sites can't be electric
- Initial costs higher?
