unfortunately the deeper you drill, the more expensive it gets. The company shouldn't be trying to run before it walks.
PB#1 was a wildcat and a good one at that. PB#2 also was exploratory and revealed gas in Ismay and nowhere else. Maybe it was too close to the fault.
However if they can frac / workover both wells and get a decent flow and connect then it relieves some pressure on cash flow, then they can go and do more exploratory drilling.
Drilling closer to PB#1 doesn't help when you want to prove up a field. Thats where PB#3 comes in...and I'm sure they are really scratching their collective heads as where to stick it.
