Regarding the fines, I thought todays announcement hinted towards the applications where this product would be used. "fines bi-products, for use in industrial and alkaline battery applications."
Fantastic point regarding the Co2 reduction, todays announcement confirms Kwinana will need approximately 10,000 tonnes less graphite feed to produce the same quantity of spherical graphite (20,000tpa). There will be a saving of around US$6mil plus the other benefits of lower Co2 and operating costs.
