martha I asked the same question a while back and was told it was due to the collapse in the uranium price and then on top of that the GFC.
This time however with the GFC behind us (almost) a more mature market should develop for Uranium with a real base and not just speculators and cowboys.
Patience is required and barring another accident (very unlikely nowadays) U3O8 should have a good future IMO and I reckon we have hit the bottom on price.
But thats just my oppinion of course.
