If there is no bad news, I would assume the instos try to force stop losses on many traders. The chart is looking too good so many traders will anticipate a rise. Nothing new, seen it happened to BAL in 2018, AGO just on the day it got taken over for 4.3c (the share fell from 3.2 to 2.8c). I have added some shares at 1.06 and try to get in at 1.04 and 1.015 if my targets are hit. I believe this is free money the market is offering. 90 percent certain 1.105 gap will close soon.
