I haven't tried Crypto yet, but I have invested in Afterpay at 9, Sezzle at 37 cents, Zip 1.70, Facebook at 19 and Snapchat at 4. Sold them all at highs, apart from the 2 I still hold: Snap and Zip. I averaged down on all of these and wanted them to go down so I could buy more. I have no problem waiting years for an investment to reach Disallowed status, as long as I believe in the company in the long term.

I stupidly had the same attitude with IOU and continued to average down and now I'm selling at a loss. My average is 50 cents. I've made a lot of mistakes with this stock that stemmed from overconfidence, lack of research and the overriding emotion of not being able to admit I was wrong and made a bad decision. There is 1 final decision to be made that is the right one IMO, and that's to sell and take the loss. Surely it's better to take this money and invest it in companies with billions in revenue, proven operational excellence and YOY growth in the hundreds of percent.
