As of last year's Annual report there were only 4 shareholders with more than 20m shares, the 2 Scots, Discovery Investments and Citicorp Nominees. All 4 had more than the 28,917,567 that went through in one trade.

This trade was marked as S3 XT which is a block special crossing trade. There were 2 other S3 XT trades for the day, one of 3.3m and one of 2m. That makes the total higher than Discovery Investments (assuming no buying since AR). Citicorp nominees possibly makes up a few large shareholders, so unlikely to be them in one hit.

This leaves one of the 2 Scots as the likely seller today. It will be interesting to see if there is a change of substantial holding form coming in the next few days. If one of the Scots did want out, then the company is open to a T/O by someone willing to pay some cash. I don't think that party would be Strike, unless this was a cash sale before a scrip offer.

One thing for sure is that the market will suddenly be awake to possibilities. May we live in interesting times...
