    Lol.

And the arrogance, ignorance and condescension continues.

" The states dams were run down supplying the mainland of Australia at a cost of diminishing Tasmanian state power security running the storage down to circa 20% in the chase to satisfy green credentials to mainlanders and at huge increases in energy costs to Tasmanians. "

That is , quite simply, bs.

The dams were run down to maximise profits. They were caught out by the failure of the cable and the longer than anticipated repair time. Even the reason the cable failed was down to poor management of the asset.
Hence, a considerable change in management policy of the asset has been applied since.

Tasmanians are very happy to provide electricity to the mainland. They are very enthusiastic about their 200% renewable energy target. Apart from further underlining Tasmania's green credentials, something they are very proud of btw, it is because it brings more jobs and commerce to Tasmania. Tasmania has long suffered from poor employment opportunities for it's youth. More renewable energy out of Tasmania helps to reduce that.

And then I see the underlining climate denier agenda oozing out of the seams yet again in your post.

" A simplistic approach to timelines and the aspirations of the proponents must take in to account a reasonable transition period to achieve ‘sustainable’ goals accounting for the dislocations perpetrated on others in poorly thought out approaches. "

The Tasmanian big battery project has demonstrated how better existing assets can be utilised for a much smaller price as compared to other projects such as Snowy 2.0. Tasmanians leveraging off existing assets and seizing new opportunities to help advance the state.

I'm sure Tasmanians are very happy to contribute even further to Australia reducing it's CO2 emissions .

As for your ScoMuppet flag waving.

He continues to embarrass Australia by ducking and weaving on emission policy. We haven't forgotten about his " big banana " comments or his " there goes the weekend " lies in the previous election campaign. He has confirmed his opposition to change by committing to underwriting a gas powered electricity generator despite the entire industry telling him that it is not needed.

Partisanship ? Absolutely. That's exactly what you and the ScoMuppet are demonstrating with your arrogant views on emission reduction.
