Read the Wilsons research report for the answer. I'm hoping for Option 3. Firstly, you reduce total cost for obtaining marketing approval in both the EU and US. Secondly, you squeeze the timeline of approval to market for the US. Thirdly, you bring forward revenue from the world's largest market. Last but not least the FDA could rapidly engage with the drug developer to accelerate treatment to American patients with limited treatment options and a dire prognosis.

Returning to the cost impact, the funding impact is so significant that a whole new range of scenarios would need to be considered.
