Philosophical post!!!
Just watched the absolute deviation of the floods in Germany, Belgium & the chancellor laid blame directly at climate change & they would be focused on reducing their contributing effects.
It’s a terrible way for a country to realise we could be doing better with over 200 souls missing.
Another poster already mentioned the difference between low grade & high grade production re the pollution each creates.
Countries will either turn away from low grade by choice or with the environmental pressures that are place upon them. While dig & ship DSO is quick & easy it’s not the best option.
I for one am more than happy to receive smaller or no Divi’s at all if it means our company is socially conscious, runs a leaner, greener operation based on aiming to run of a full renewable power supply, low energy use & water consumption which nextore should assist with. If we can combine with the upgraded Whyalla steel mill to produce a “greener” end product even better.
While there is a lot of people who believe that it will be too hard or too expensive what is a legitimate alternative? A world we destroy because we don’t care or make enough profit from?
Don’t get me wrong, I hope/dream that this has the ability to set my family up for generations, however not at the expensive of the third rock from the sun.
There has been more than a few “people” who are hammering on that MGT won’t raise the funds to enter production because magnetite is far to expensive to mine. Yes $600M is an absolute bucket load of coin there’s no denying it & raising these funds will require a deft hand & experience, which our management team have in spades.
My question is, is magnetite to expensive to mine or will it be far more expensive in the long run if we don’t?
