I would imagine he simply didn't realize that Second Lagoon Pty Ltd is the entity of the Nania family trust and that Aaryn is a current top 10 shareholder. He also didn't realize that Aaryn had absolutely no input into the decision by Lucerne Investment Partners to liquidate their position at >3 cents last year (the Principis Master Fund SPC - Lucerne Master Fund SP). Aaryn's name was on the change of interest form / substantial shareholder notice forms because he was a director of Lucerne at the time.
