I agree that a negative decision for MLS will have an effect on companies operating in Namibia only. Namibia is an independant nation which can be grouped into one of the most mining friendly and democratic out of African nations.

Martti Ahtisaari changed the country and set up a political system which has worked very well, for its people and Australian exploration and mining companies but sometimes old habits still do creep in and can take over. Just look at neighbouring South Africa and Zimbabwe.

Hopefully no bad polical influences have come across from that side to sway the decision making. I've held a modest holding throughout this episode and hope that justice prevails. I've also held some MLI which operates in South Africa. They have been crucified by political and business corruption to the highest order.

I also hold some BMN and on occasion PDN, and also watch some of the other U shows in Namibia and nothing really underhanded has happened. There's been a few attempts which happen everywhere, which have come to nothing so Namibia really has a good track record.
