From Jan 1 the limit is 10%, however in cases where "National Security" or "Critical supplies" are concerned, the Minister may impose stricter limits. The Chinese themselves made Rare Earths, "Critical" when they threatened to stop supplying them to USA defence companies, so they are not so smart !
Immaterial really when you consider PEAK intend to process in the UK, they certainly won't need any Chinese help, China might control 90% of the sector now but the West is going to rapidly change that with their improved QA/QC and advances in technology, the days of cheap and nasty will be soon over.
