    Hi everyone,

Can some one please explain to me a bit of a more in depth reason behind why buyer order volume changes within the last 15 minutes before market open? This morning we had a bit over 3.5m bid value to buy at .33 at about 8.30am and then by 9.50am they were gone. Its pretty common..
My brief understanding is that its a dummy order put up just a pip below the indicative open of .335 in order to suck the price down pre open and take the wind out of the sails? Is this correct?

If this was the case then the investor/trader would have to have the funds for purchase eg 1.15m dollars. Just seems like if someone had that kind of money to throw around for dummy bids, then they would only be doing it to either purchase more stock lower or short the stock??

    Opinions welcome.

    Thanks in advance
