I know it’s a long shot but was wondering whether GWR would have any interest in FAS’s SHIP deposit.

GWR, after what’s seems an eternity have finally got their spectacular Wiluna iron ore deposit into production and with the current iron ore prices at an all time high are making a fortune based only on a modest tonnage at this stage.

The SHIP deposit is closer to infrastructure and is a relatively cheap deposit to get into production compared to many.

Probably not on their radar but with the previous ties between the two companies you never know.

If they could be transferred over I’m sure the accumulated losses accrued by FAS would also be attractive to any cashed up producer.

Totally understand we’ve all done our dough here, that was clear years ago but stranger things have happened….
