Yep the sad thing is many actually need more money to increase quality of life and/or enable them to become independent and hopefully cost the system less but then we have all these others milking the system. I know what Autism looks like and have seen those that really need support, and my youngest boy is definitely not one of them, but it is so hard to fight the system when someone else is trying to manipulate the system as the assessors have a vested interest in putting them into the system - the only thing going for it is hopefully if the child continues to do well they will reach a point where they have to be assessed out of the system.

Its going to result in a new levy or taking from other services, and you're right, despite the blow out in costs those most in need aren't getting more, its just more people getting in.
