Cost of electric car is still 4x fossil. Country is still building coal plants. How many around us using renewable energy. If it's so cheap as the marketing said, why they are not everywhere yet? Don't tell me it is costly to replace. With rate hard to raise, it shouldn't be costly to replace.

One intrigued argument is what you have wrote, increasing premium to the industry and make the renewable less financing cost, that sounds to me as an effort to reduce ff supply, but why the thesis is happening after a decade of lower ff expenditure? The ff industry is so niche and we may not have enough ff to satisfy explosion in demand due to massive credit to people.

I believe the main issue to bhp is not about profit, yes it is low in margin (compared to presented renewable in presentation lol), the demand is higher i believe instead, but doing it so might jeopardise its bigger business, so i think the argument here is lets sacrifice the dwarf to win the king's heart.

If ff is that bad, why Europe is prefer to support Nordstream 2 and go against US and US think is a very big issue here? Does that mean ff is still so cheap, even for European?
