Runningbear62 has pointed out the issue with ICU beds, I went over to London to watch an NFL game at Wembley Stadium once, my team were playing a regular season game over there and we took a holiday. It looked alright to me and they seemed to have a fair few hospitals around Paddington and elsewhere.

I lived in London (Kensington/Notting Hill gate) for 6 years, my family are scattered throughout the UK (scottish family, I am a dual passport holder). I can tell you with a certainty for the average member of the public the hospital/medical facilities, availability and conditions are definitely not as good as Australia.
