I would have to bow to local knowledge but my understanding (from afar) was that there may have been some extended and extensive political opposition to development of the Hillside mine and this resulted in an unusually long and drawn out PEPR process. Perhaps others with local knowledge can correct me?

It is however worth noting that the doubling of the ore body did not result in a doubling of the share price (said with tongue in cheek!!!!!). What was surprising to a mug punter was the daily turnover which I think is a record for the last 12 months of trading. What is going on? Why did the share price not move? Where have these 5.22 million shares been hiding?

PS: Not having driven from from Hillside to Adelaide I had to rely on Mr Google for the following travel time from Ardrossan to Adelaide and added a few minutes for the extra 12 kms to the Hillside site to arrive at the stated 2 hour travel time. My point being that a daily commute (even 3 hrs in your vehicle) would not be attractive for worker.
