The Avon river starts inland east of Perth goes through Northam and Toodyay then through the Walyunga national park, then changes name to the Swan river.
The Walyunga national park is below the high inland ground, the Julimar discovery by CHN is on the low ground, also known by locals as the Bassendean sand dunes, a antient beech front.
Me and my family have or still own large land holdings along the Bassendean sand dunes, as was common for Italian immigrants.
The only reason why I know so much about the land scape of this area is because I lived near the Julimar discovery for most of my life, and about 7 years till now near the MAN ground.
My parents always took us to the rivers and parks of these areas each week, as that is what people did them days.
