If you watch the entire video I provided a few days ago and see all of the conditions that were placed on applicants you'll probably agree with what I said.

The committee didn't say the applicants could comply with some of the criteria, they had to meet all.

While the Monash deal looks great, at this stage it is relatively modest in scale, ie. manufacturing mRNA at a scale large enough to do a few clinical trials.

Though that deal will tick a box for IDT's application to the government ( having made contact/agreement with mRNA IP owners) there are other requirements that will be tough to meet for anyone but CSL.

For example, though CSL will have their hand out for cash from the government, just like all applicants, CSL has massive resources of its own and will likely tip in significant sums to the venture.

Some of the applicants even need the government to pay for the property housing the site, along with almost every conceivable other cost involved in delivering the vaccine project.
