@sailorgirl; I've a brother-in-law who lives in and loves Cairns for just that! We'll never move though because my wife cares for their 91 year old mother and will continue to do so until either we die first or she passes.
By that time it'll probably be too late to move anyway and our our kids / grandkids live in Melbourne and love us big time and especially because of my political views.
