I would argue against news flow from EXR being strategically announced….
Cracker was a duster, they released the announcement hours before NY had to do a presentation with questions from shareholders, which, considering Exr had just had a successful $10m raise and had 2 Years worth of drilling cash in the bank, and considering the hole was worth $100,000 or less, NY took the criticism on the chin with very good poise.
Kingston was a success, with not just one but 2 holes coming up trumps to form a new sub basin, they could have released Friday before his presentation easily giving NY an ego boast going into it, but no, they waited and released on an assumed blood red day for the ASX in an attempt to hold up the share price, if, in a perfect market system the share price wasn’t being manipulated and kicked in the guts.
NY has only grown in credibility in my eyes, NSUNYS
